About Me.

As a Registered Psychologist in Edmonton, Alberta, I provide therapy for adults (18+) who are navigating anxiety, trauma, complex trauma, stress, grief, life transitions, and perinatal mental health concerns such as postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, antenatal anxiety, pregnancy after loss, birth trauma, and perinatal loss. My work includes in-person sessions in Edmonton and online therapy across Alberta and the Yukon.

My Lived Experience

While my professional training forms the framework of my work, my personal journey has also shaped the way I practice. Before training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, I experienced SP as a client while working through my own trauma. That process gave me a profound respect for the body’s wisdom and showed me how transformative therapy can be when mind and body are included together in healing.

The roles of caregiver and parent have offered another layer of understanding. Through these experiences, I learned the weight of responsibility, the challenges of balance, and the resilience that grows through compassion and connection. Parenting as a single mother, supporting a neurodivergent child, and navigating my own experiences of postpartum anxiety and perinatal loss have all deepened my appreciation for patience, flexibility, and self-kindness.

Early experiences of developmental trauma, growing up as the adult child of a parent with severe mental illness, and later facing profound losses, including suicide within family and friends, have further shaped the way I show up as a therapist. These experiences have taught me to sit with suffering without judgment, and to honor the courage it takes to grieve, survive, and heal.

The focus of therapy, however, remains your journey, not mine. Sharing these parts of my background simply reflects how my personal and professional paths have come together in a practice grounded in empathy, respect, and hope.

Professional Experience and Training

My professional background includes working at the Lois Hole Hospital for Women in Edmonton in Reproductive Mental Health Care, first as a Practicum Student and later as a Provisional Psychologist. I then joined the Edmonton North Primary Care Network, where I supported clients with a wide range of psychological concerns while building my private practice — Waller Psychology.

In these roles, I have taught psychoeducation groups, facilitated group therapy for anxiety, depression, grief, and mindfulness, and developed professional training for fellow psychologists.

I am also an active member of the Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute, where I trained deeply and experientially over six years. My ongoing commitment to supervision, consultation, and assisting in trainings has allowed me to maintain both the precision and depth of this work.

My Approach
I work from an integrative, body-focused, and relational perspective. My primary lens is Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, which allows me to help clients connect with the wisdom of their body and nervous system in healing trauma, anxiety, and life challenges. I also draw from CBT, mindfulness-based approaches, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy, always tailoring therapy to each client’s unique needs.

Faith and Therapy
My own background includes a Christian faith, and I welcome integrating your faith into therapy if it feels meaningful for you to do so.  I work with clients from all beliefs and perspectives, and always center the values that matter most to you.
